Here are details for the upcoming orientation retreat on Saturday, August 26, 2017. For those attending in person (strongly preferred), the location will be in the Sandia Room at the Catholic Center of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. The Catholic Center is located at 4000 St. Joseph's Place, NW in Albuquerque. The Catholic Center is located next to Saint Pius High School.
We will begin at 9:00 am with a selection of Morning Prayers and Hymns that we will also use during the Pilgrimage. We'll then take a couple of minutes each to introduce ourselves to each other and to get to know each other a little better. After a short break, we'll engage in some scripture and thematic reflection relating to our theme and pilgrimage in general. We'll learn and recite our Prayer Before Meals and then break for lunch. Following lunch we will dive into the details of our schedule and logistics for the pilgrimage where we will attempt to answer all your questions. Our experienced pilgrims will share some of their wisdom on how to stay safe and pain-free during the walk. We plan to conclude around 2:00 pm but have the room for longer if we need it.
For our out-of-state pilgrims we will be using a virtual meeting platform called ZOOM. Send an email to info@nmpilgrimage.org and request the link, which will include instructions to join the video conference. Of course to participate in the video conference, your computer needs to have either an internal or externally mounted webcam. If this is a problem, please let us know and we'll send instructions on how to access just the audio part of the retreat.
